Woke up this morning around 8:00- set out for a hard four-mile run. [it seems like every morning I am running!] Got home and was looking forward to breakfast a little too much because I couldn’t decide what I wanted. Granola bar or toast? My homemade toast won me over.

On one side, regular peanut butter and Ocracoke Fig Preserves. This jar has whole figs inside so I feel like i’m actually eating a ripe fruit.

The other half smeared with Better n’ Peanut Butter (haven’t had it in awhile) and homemade Strawberry Thyme jam, although the thyme flavor is negligible. Added were few Chia Seeds  during consumption.

A tall glass of water on the side to hydrate- always a must!
